The CharDham 2024 This 11-day pilgrimage begins with arrival in Delhi and follows a clockwise route starting from Yamunotri to Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath.
Here is the day-wise breakup.
Day 1: Arrival – Delhi – Drive to Rishikesh
Arrival at Delhi International Airport. Meet and greet with representative. Drive to Rishikesh. On arrival, check-in at the hotel in Rishikesh. Day spent at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Rishikesh.
Day 2: Rishikesh –Barkot
Wake up and settle for a hearty breakfast. Later, proceed to Barkot and enroute, stopover at Kempty Falls in Mussoorie. Continue drive to Barkot. Hotel check-in at arrival. Overnight stay at hotel in Barkot.
Day 3: Barkot – Trek to Yamunotri
Wake up early morning, eat breakfast, and drive to Phoolchatti/Jankichatti. On reaching, The CharDham 2024 journey starts with trek to Yamunotri temple on foot or rent a pony. Pause at Surya Kund for preparing ‘Prasad’ and then continue to Yamunotri temple. Enjoy the holy darshan there. Return to Jankichatti. Drive back to hotel in Barkot. Overnight stay at hotel in Barkot.
Day 4: Barkot – Uttarkashi
Wake up and eat breakfast. Drive to Uttarkashi and drive to Phoolchatti/Jankichatti. On reaching, start trek to Yamunotri temple on foot or rent a pony. Pause at Surya Kund for preparing ‘Prasad’ and then continue to Yamunotri temple. Enjoy the holy darshan there. Return to Jankichatti. Drive back to hotel in Barkot. Overnight stay at hotel in Barkot.
Day 5: Uttarkashi – Gangotri Temple
Wake up and eat breakfast. Drive to Gangotri and enroute, take a holy bathe at Garam Kund. Next, continue drive to Gangotri temple for holy darshan. After darshan, drive back to Uttarkashi. Overnight stay at hotel in Uttarkashi.
Day 6: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi
Wake up and settle for a hearty breakfast. Later, checkout from the hotel and drive to Guptkashi. Hotel check-in at arrival. After a little relaxation, visit the Ardh Narishwar temple in evening. Overnight stay at hotel in Barkot.
Day 7: Guptkashi – Kedarnath via Helicopter
Wake up and enjoy morning breakfast. Today, visit the iconic Kedarnath temple via chopper ride from Phata/Sirsi Helipad. On reaching, enjoy peaceful moments and darshan at the Kedarnath temple on CharDham 2024 tour. After darshan, take chopper ride back to the helipad. Drive back to Guptkashi. Day 8: Guptkashi – Badrinath via Joshimath
Wake up and settle for breakfast. Checkout from the hotel and drive to Badrinath via Joshimath route. On arrival, freshen up and relax for some time. Get ready for evening darshan at the Badrinath temple. After darshan, return to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Badrinath.
Day 9: Badrinath – Rudraprayag
Early morning darshan at Badrinath temple. Return to hotel. Enjoy breakfast in morning. Checkout from the hotel and head for local sightseeing tour covering Vyas Gufa, Mana Village, Ganesh Gufa and Mata Murti temple. Later, drive to Rudraprayag and hotel check-in on arrival. Overnight stay at hotel in Rudraprayag.
Day 10: Rudraprayag – Haridwar
Wake up and settle for breakfast. Checkout from the hotel. Drive to Haridwar. Hotel check-in at arrival. After a little relaxation, attend the grand Holy Ganga Aarti in evening. Overnight stay at hotel in Haridwar.
Day 11: Haridwar – Sightseeing – Delhi Departure
Today after breakfast, enjoy local sightseeing tour of Haridwar covering Chandi Devi temple, Mansa Devi temple, and Mayapuri temple. Later, transfer to Delhi International Airport for departure flight.
Note: The CharDham 2024 begins from May for tourists and will be closed for visits in winter (October or November). It is thus recommended to plan your trip in advance for a hassle-free trip.
